THE HERCULOIDS HANNA-BARBERA STUDIOS  ANIMATION PRODUCTION CELS: Five-cel production setup of DORNO, ZANDOR, GLOOP and GLEEP from the 1981 NBC-TV cartoon series SPACE STARS. The bouncing Gloop cel also comes with the original production pencil drawing designated 227-11-1 G-10 on the bottom of the animation paper with notations at top (shown in image). The cels and the pencil are on full 10.5 x 12.5 inch sheets, with Dorno's head cel having the bottom peg hole strip taped on and the Zandor cel marginally trimmed on the right down to 12.25 inches. No paint chips in the cels, but the Gloop cel is missing a piece at the right peg hole, about the size of the peg hole (when matted no one will ever know). The composite breaks down as Dorno's head, Dorno's body, Zandor (labeled A), Gleep (labeled B-7), and Gloop (labeled G-10). From the head cel, you'd have to assume Dorno was talking in this scene. The Gloop and Gleep cels have the peg holes at the top, which may mean they were not originally a part of this scene, however the composite image looks sharp, so I'm offering it that way. All sizes approximate (L-R): Dorno 3.75 inches tall, Gleep 3 inches tall with shadow, Zandor 4.25 inches tall, and Gloop 5.5 inches tall with shadow. The entire combined image is roughly 6.25 inches tall x 7 inches wide. The characters in this cartoon were designed by Alex Toth. (NOTE: I've seen a number of Herculoids cels from the 1981 series advertised as being from the original 1967 series. They aren't, as those rarely surface. Please be aware that even legitimate galleries have people who don't know a thing about animation history writing their ad copy. It's a shame, but that's the way it is.) THE HERCULOIDS HANNA-BARBERA STUDIOS ANIMATION PRODUCTION CELS: Two-cel production setup of IGOO and a water ripple, designated Shot 104 A14 with effect 104A FX5, from the 1981 NBC-TV cartoon series SPACE STARS. The leaping Igoo cel also comes with the original production pencil drawing, which has a shading blue line notation on it (shown in image) and an A1-A30 3/4 note in the upper right corner. Both cels and the pencil are untrimmed on approximately 10.5 x 12.5 inch sheets. The Igoo image is about 2.75 tall x 3 inches wide, which when combined with the effects cel brings the whole image to approximately 5 inches tall x 7.5 inches wide. KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE (1977): KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE ONE-SHEET MOVIE POSTER FINISHED ORIGINAL ARTWORK AND PRELIMINARY POSTER STUDY ART: These two pieces are being sold as a pair. You get both the preliminary AND the completed final original artwork for $1,950

JOHN DEARSTYNE Finished Original Artwork
: The finished one-sheet original artwork intended for a second movie poster advertising campaign of the John Landis cult comedy classic. Jim Abrahams and Jerry & David Zucker also worked on this film. This original was created in 1977, using black ink and pastel paints, drawn on roughly 18 x 21 inch heavy board (the piece is currently sealed in a frame, so I can't provide the exact size and make-up of the art board). The principle image of the egg monster is approximately 15 inches wide by 16 inches tall and it is signed "Dearstyne" in the lower left egg shell portion of the piece. The background is painted solid black and the egg monster is various shades of yellow and gold with a pink tongue. The artwork has been professionally triple matted, using acid free ragboard, up to roughly 23.5 x 25.5 inches in size. The matting and backing will be included, so the original is ready to simply frame and hang. As provenance, this original was published in "The Great Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Movie Memorabilia Book, Volume One" on page 114 (name misspelled as "Deerstyne"). The central monster image was used in European and Scandinavian poster releases, and this original can be seen on the Chapter Selections insert card in the current DVD release, albeit re-colored in green (shown alongside the original). John also painted the film poster for "Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes" and drew other film production artwork in the later seventies. A one-of-a-kind, off the wall, original from one the seventies best sketch comedy films. See artwork and published sample

DAVID WEISMAN Preliminary Study Artwork: This color production original artwork study was done in 1977 for the second movie poster ad campaign of the John Landis film. The large colorfast marker image (no loss of color intensity over the years) is drawn on 14 x 24 inch thin white paper and is mounted on 20 x 29 inch black crescent board. There are a few small light tan droplet stains in the lower left white border. The artwork depicts a monster hatching from an egg with the tag, "There's Nothing Chicken About..." Below this is a hand-lettered logo and some hand-lettered screen credits. As provenance, this original was published in "The Great Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Movie Memorabilia Book, Volume One" on page 91. David has also done film production illustrations for "Dark Star," "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie." See artwork and published sample

The original pencil artwork is on a full-size, untrimmed, 10.5 x 12.5 inch, animation sheet. Image size is roughly 2 x 1.5 inches and features only the Pink Panther's head. He is squinting and wearing what looks an old fashion hat. This is most likely from the 1978 - 1981 time frame, just before production was sold to Marvel. True, it's just a face in-between, but hey, for an original animation drawing, it's cheap! See pencil  $7.50

The "Collectible Figurines" bucket is 6.5 inches tall and the "Flying Rocketeer" bucket is 5 inches tall, both are 5 inches in diameter, with the taller one more oval and the shorter one round. Neither one has cracks in the plastic, but they show wear and scuffing from store use, and a bit of yellowing from over 20 years of age. Some cleaning on your part will make them look much nicer. The seams are all solid. The "Flying Rocketeer" label is in remarkably excellent condition, while the "Collectible Figurines" label shows less than an inch of surface wear on the checkerboard pattern near the bottom. The labels bear Dave Stevens artwork of the head of the Rocketeer with the title logo and a full figure Rocketeer flying away. The "Everyone loves to get Applause" logo appears at the top of the label. The Walt Disney copyright naturally appears on the label. THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW SCREENPLAY: Written by Jim Sharman and Richard O'Brien, adapted from O'Brien's "The Rocky Horror Show" musical, condition is VF (outer card stock cover) and VF/NM (interior pages). This 20th Century Fox stamped screenplay copy is an early draft dated "18th July, 1974" on the cover that deviates from the final shooting script. It contains dialogue/shots not in the film. There are two pages of internal script amendments dated "September 12, 1974." Throughout this copy of the screenplay there are pages dated both before and after the July and September 1974 dates previously mentioned. The screenplay runs 88 pages with an actual page count of 96 pages due to some "A" and "B" insert changes. Needless to say, it's a fascinating read for any RHPS fan. This is a spiral bound copy, printed on white paper, that was sold by Alan Light through his Film Collector's World publication. It is not an original 20th Century Fox studio copy. (I've seen a number of these advertised as the real deal. While they are a sharp collectible, they are not original studio copies worth many times the price!) As a provenance bonus, I will include the original FCW mailing envelope this came in with its March 16, 1979 postal date on it. Wow! See if anyone else will offer you that! See cover  $75
